Biography

Dr. Bashirat Olamide Yusuf-Salihu is a Lecturer in Microbiology at Kwara State University, Nigeria, specializing in nanobiotechnology and sustainable biomaterials. Her research integrates green synthesis of metallic nanoparticles from agro industrial wastes with biomedical evaluations, including antimicrobial, antioxidant, antidiabetic, and hemocompatibility studies. She has published in internationally indexed journals, including Next Nanotechnology and Cleaner and Circular Bioeconomy (Elsevier), advancing the development of circular bioeconomy driven nanomaterials. Beyond nanotechnology, her research explores microbial biotechnology and bioresource valorization.
